Nelson FC are now 1 point away from being promoted as champions.

In 45 years of watching I have only ever seen them win one trophy, the first division cup about 16 years ago.

We won the final 1 - 0 at Darwen FCs ground and our next match is on Monday, away to Darwen. I hope that is a good omen.
