Anybody make the trip? Reports suggest we were probably unlucky?

We probably deserved something from the game, which was by no means a classic, but a very stop start affair. Was our team selection right, or are we accommodating players on reputation, rather than form, and who turns up regularly at training?

Woodhead, Walmesley, Fletcher, Mason, Porter, Mahoney (D), O'Neil, O'Neil, O'Neil, Wright, Fyldes (Hession 75 mins).
Subs not used Lloyd & the lad whose name escapes me.

Yes but we could have made better use of the subs.

Only one used and he came on a good 15 minutes later than he should.

Add to that the fact that we pumped long balls up to Peter Wright who can not compete with tall defenders instead of putting the ball out wide to Hession who's pace can frighten most defences. Tactically inept

Plus the young lad whose name I can't remember should have been given 20 minutes to frighten the life out of them.

On his performance against Darwen against big centre halfs, the young lad would have been in Mike Whites pocket, no surprise we didn't see him. Hession should have started, a midfield 3 in their late 20's and front 3 in their 30's..... Not very dynamic...

The chances that Peter Wright and Joe O'Neill missed should have put us 3 or 4 to the good.
