Morning All,

We go in search of our first points on Thursday evening at home to Garforth.

Really would like to see a few folk there and support the young admirals.
7.45 kick off

Cheers

I wouldn’t call it a debacle, maybe a little bump in the road would be more sufficient, we’ve still had one hell of a good start.

Actually the opposite regards team selection.
The first team will be training on Thursday I am told, going over things ready for the weekend.

It’s all my young guns by the looks of it.
My squads average age is under 19, so plenty of future LOCAL stars on show.
Two players from the squad in particular are pushing for first team inclusion.

Get down and have a look.

Great game to watch, that lad at left back showed a lot of skill.

Could have won by more but let's not be greedy.

Who was that old git who came on for the last few minutes? Clearly not good enough for this squad! LOL

A much better team performance than previous outings against weaker opposition but it was a good game to watch.

I think the biggest difference was the goalkeeper who was loud and assuring which enabled the defenders to knock it around with confidence rather than just smashing it up the park. Kept possession much better and played through midfield rather than bypass them.

Paddy Furey was outstanding and deserves a special mention.

Good for team confidence but will need to prepare for a much tougher task next week.

I noticed Mark Fell at the game - wonder what his thoughts were on the young admirals display given the average age of the team?

Mr fell will, as usual, ignore the youth in his selection for his 'favourites'
