Nelson Vs Rochdale
Tonight's is a must win game that could take us back to the top of the table, providing we get all 3 points on offer.
Nothing else is acceptable against the bottom team at home.
If we play well it could be 5 - 0, if we don't.........................

Re: Nelson Vs Rochdale
We did play well but it wasn't 5-0. It was 6-1!
Young Sam Anderson was excellent at left back, Robert Grimes made a big difference to the energy of the team, Chris Turner and Ash Mihell showed they can compete with anyone at this level and Peter Wright gave us a lesson in how to poach goals.
I will back Peter Wright to score a double hat trick sometime this season.

Nelson v Rochdale
Finally, the team have transferred the training ground stuff onto the pitch and boy was it enjoyable to watch.
Time and again we carved Rochdale up at will. Attacks building from all areas of the pitch and every player wanting the ball.
The biggest difference for me was the constant communication coming from the engine room - midfield.
A few more performances like that and we can start to believe we are as consistent as the quality curry on offer at home games.
For the second game running I thought Johnny Hession has started to gain confidence on the pitch and is looking a very good prospect.
Peter Wright was superb not just for his well taken goals but the amount of ground he covered - he was everywhere always wanting the ball and harassing anything that moved. It is this kind of effort and work rate that makes the player and a fine example to all the younger players in and around the first team.

Agreed on all points; the young lads are gaining good experience getting minutes in games like that. Thought both Hession and Brooks looked the part in their 20 minute cameos.
No getting away from the fact Rochdale are poor tho, Oldham will be a tougher test
