Let's get this started! Firstly a guess the crowd, I'm going for 220. Massive game for both sides, probably neither can afford to lose

Where do we start with that!!!

Best Nelson display I've seen for 10 years I reckon. Hard work, quality in attacking 3rd, actually looked very comfortable even with 10 men we dealt with the long balls very well.

Young Brandon scored an absolute cracker, new lads looked like they'd been admirals all season, Ben Woodhead solid as a rock.

The programme built up a battle of the two striker, we there was no contest, Peter Wright won hands down.

Let's go beat Fylde now

I agree JKennett - a truly superb performance from the Admirals.

Tactically spot on pressing high up the pitch in the opening exchanges that virtually won us the game in the first 10 minutes.

All players seemed up for it and knew what was expected of them.

Woodhead was solid and made things look easy due to his very good positional sense.

Must also mention Finch - who was like a man possessed when we went down to 10 men. He won everything in the air and on the ground to ensure no further breaches of our goal.

Adnan was a class act again.

I have no doubt their main threat Brandon was made to look pretty ordinary throughout the game were as Wrighty caused them problems all afternoon - (We have the best striker in the league, end of story) he also played brilliant when asked to drop into the middle.

The most positive thing for me was that we lost Lloyd and Melling from trusted back line and had to reshuffle several players into different positions and looked every bit as good as our opponents and the more likely to go on and score again.

We really do have a top squad of players now and I am dreaming about the treble.

Can't wait for Tuesday night!!!

For my blogger's report and pics from the match just Google 'fa cup blog'. My site is first on the list and the Nelson report is at the top. Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Little Wembley. Far more enjoyable than big Wembley as far as I'm concerned!

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Paul.

PS If anyone can post a direct link to the blog post that would be great.
