Nelson verses Holker Old Boys (and the weather)
Nice blue sky this morning, referee inspecting at 10.00am, looking promising so far.
Padiham passed inspection at 9.00, apparently the same referee.
Looking forward to a good game (and a Nelson win) after watching the QPR Vs Burnley at the Dressers club.

Don't know, but I hope not.
The last time I remember this happening the opposition ground was unfit so the match was postponed again, however our ground was fit so if they had not switched the game would have been played.
Stupid league management committee, as if we can control the weather. Even Man City was off and they have millions.

The way the weather is at the moment we will be getting it back.
They have had 6 home postponements since November and have not played at all since losing to us on Boxing day.
It's very high and wild on Rakesmoor.

Indeed Philip, they had damage to the stand roof (which was on the pitch)when we went on Boxing day lord knows what state it's in now.
We deserve to be at home for this though so fingers crossed.

Ah well - in truth we were second best for long spells but somehow managed to keep them at bay although we created the better chances particularly in the last 10 minutes with two glorious opportunities but that would have been harsh on Holker.
They looked fitter, faster and fresher than we did but rather we exit the cup ant take three points on Saturday #Getting priorities right.

And it was a clean sheet over 90 minutes!
Press on and win the league.
