Holker on Boxing Day.
Can we postpone this now?
Should never have scheduled a game on Boxing Day, not at this level.

Re: Holker on Boxing Day.
No chance of it being on, league website says it will be moved to Saturday or Monday night if it's called off, forecast is dreadful, so is Holkers pitch

Re: Holker on Boxing Day.
League website says an inspection has to be held on Thursday.
Crass stupidity, just call it off now.
Don't mind Saturday but Monday evening, no no no.

Re: Holker on Boxing Day.
Another game chalked off the fixture list with 3 more vital points attached to it.
An excellent hard fought victory today. Just listened to Mark Fell's post match comments and pretty much summed everything up.
The ref was an absolute joke and their manager confirmed the same. The penalty was a superbly timed challenge from the very impressive Melling.
Woodhead with brilliant saved penalty but had no chance with rebound. All back line did a very good job at keeping Holker out forcing them to shoot from distance.
Hodgekiss softest sending off you will ever see.
But putting all the ref decision making aside - Allen with another spectacular solo effort, Ed O'neill returning to squad and putting in MoM performance, 'Killer' doing the marshalling and showed excellent intelligence although still looks a yard short, Hession looking more comfortable and confident in the team set up and Hoskin playing to full potential in the position that best suits him.
Let's hope this is the start of what could become a very good unbeaten run to pile pressure on the rest.

Re: Holker on Boxing Day.
Agree on all counts. I feel for the lads sometimes with the officials very difficult and Mark's interview sums it up for me.
Positives today - Ed being back is a major plus, he looks very sharp. Jonny did well - just faded through lack of match practice. George Melling is top class, end of story.
Negatives - We just need to swallow some of the decisions. Officials are awful in this league unfortunately nothing we can do about it. Not sure what's happened with Sak but bit frustrating - doesn't seem to know how go use his speed.
Great position for the club now, two huge derbies with Darwen to come. Not many clubs will go to Holker and win this season and with Colls now losing every week they could fall away.
