Pre-season games

Anyone seen any of the first 2 games? A 4-1 win over Croston or tonight's 1-1 with Longridge?

Saw the 1 - 1.

Typical pre season friendly. Nelson had lots of possession in the first half and had 20 odd shots on goal, most of which were blocked by defenders or saved by the goalkeeper who had a fantastic match.

Second half was crap due to all the changes but that's what you expect in a pre season.

Peter Wright put half a dozen just over the bar but we all know what they say about dress rehearsals.

I concur with Phillip about the Longridge game, we were very dominant for 45 minutes then the 10 or so changes spoilt the game. Couple of faces I've not seen before, a centre half and a striker that look new and the winger the played 2nd half (think it's Peet?) looked the part
